1. Paper Plate Sun Craft


Materials you need : Paper plate, yellow paper and yellow paint/crayons

Steps to make a beautiful SUN

  1. Give each child a paper plate and let them color or paint it yellow.
  2. To make the sun rays, cut triangle shapes from colored paper and color them yellow (parents or teachers can help with cutting).
  3. Make around 9-10 triangles, depending on the size of the plate this should be enough to cover the edges.
  4. Next, stick the triangular rays around the paper plate using glue or tape, just like shown in the picture.
  5. For the eyes, you can draw them using a black crayon, or cut two small circles/oval shapes from white paper, draw the pupils, and stick them on.

How to make:

  1. Dip the child’s hand in paint and press it onto paper to create the stem.
  2. Then, have the kids dip their thumbs in bright-colored paint and stamp thumbprints on top of each stem to make flower petals.
  3. They can also use their other fingers dipped in green paint to add leaves along the stems.

3. Cotton Ball Sheep Craft



Materials you need: Cotton balls, glue, paper

How to make:

  1. Draw a sheep outline on paper (or use a paper plate for the body) and let the kids glue cotton balls on it to make fluffy wool. (If you have cotton balls)
  2. Then, make the sheep’s face and let the kids color it black using crayons.
  3. Cut 4 circles for the eyes - 2 big circles for the eyes and 2 smaller circles for the pupils.

How to make:

  1. Cut a paper plate in half and draw 7 rainbow arches.
  2. Let the kids color each arch with crayons in this order: Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red (VIBGYOR), as shown in the picture.

5. Toilet Paper Roll Butterfly


Materials you need: Toilet paper roll, paint, paper

How to make:

  1. Paint the toilet paper roll white, then cut out paper wings, eyes, two heart shapes, and two thin paper strips to make the butterfly’s antennae.
  2. Let the kids paint the wings first using pink, blue, or any color they like, and then add patterns of their choice.
  3. Next, glue the wings and eyes onto the roll and draw a smiley face.
  4. For the antennae, attach a heart shape to the end of each thin paper strip, then glue the strips to the top of the roll - just like the picture shows.

6. Paper Ladybug Craft

How to make:

  1. Cut two red circles for the body (same size) and small black circles for the spots. Kids can draw the spots with black crayon too.
  2. Cut two white circles for the eyes and two thin black strips for the antennae.
  3. Now fold one red circle in half and glue it on top of the other circle to form the ladybug shape.
  4. Add the eyes and antennae, then draw the pupils using a black marker.

How to make:

  1. Draw or cut an ice cream cone shape and let the kids color it
  2. Dip sponges into a colorful paint mixture and dab on paper to create textures of ice cream scoops on top of the cone.

How to make:
